Sustainable by design

A prize pool funded by profit, not promises

Weekly net profit means cleared display-advertising revenue minus documented, eligible operating costs. No other revenue source is included. Cash prizes start only after four consecutive closed weeks each show at least $50 in net profit and an eight-week operating reserve is funded.

The exact formula

Weekly prize pool = 20% × weekly net profit, capped at $1,000.

If weekly net profit is below $50, that week remains ranked but has no cash payout. Once the pool reaches larger levels, more positions are paid. This keeps the first launch meaningful: at $50 profit, the winner receives $10 instead of splitting a very small pool ten ways.

What counts as an operating cost

  • Hosting, database, monitoring, security, and anti-bot infrastructure.
  • Payment, identity verification, currency conversion, and chargeback fees.
  • Fraud review, moderation, support, accounting, tax administration, and legal review.
  • A published weekly allocation to the operating reserve.

Founder distributions are not deducted as operating costs unless a future published policy defines reasonable compensation. Calculations should use cleared advertising revenue and documented invoices, not forecasts.

Example at $100 advertising revenue

Operating cost decides whether the prize switch turns on

Early costs are unknown until the leaderboard, payout provider, verification, and support workload are measured. These scenarios make that uncertainty visible.

Payout ladder

More profit unlocks more paid positions

The 20% share remains stable while the number of winners grows with the pool.

At $5,000 weekly net profit, the 20% formula reaches the $1,000 cap. The proposed top-ten payouts would be $350, $200, $120, $80, $60, $50, $40, $40, $30, and $30.

Competition operation

One week, one verified leaderboard

  1. 01 · PlayMonday through Sunday

Runs open Monday 00:00 UTC and close Sunday 23:59:59 UTC.

  2. 02 · FreezeProvisional ranking

The leaderboard freezes at close while top runs enter review.

  3. 03 · VerifyUp to seven days

Finalists complete anti-cheat, identity, region, and payout checks.

  4. 04 · PayWithin 14 days

Verified winners are paid within 14 calendar days after approval.

Entry

Ten ranked attempts per day

  • Each attempt contains all five Arena Run challenges in one session.
  • Solo Practice results never enter the weekly leaderboard.
  • No purchase or entry fee is required.
  • A verified friend completion may add one attempt, capped at two extra per day.
Scoring

Best verified run wins

  • The highest valid weekly Human Score determines rank.
  • A published tie-break order uses completion time, then earliest submission.
  • Hidden tabs, automation, modified clients, emulators, and scripted input are prohibited.
  • Suspicious runs may become unranked or be removed after review.
Anti-cheat

Server validation before prizes

  • Signed sessions, server timestamps, rate limits, and attempt counters.
  • Impossible-score filters and input-rhythm anomaly detection.
  • Risk-based device checks, replay evidence, and manual finalist review.
  • Top runs are held until every required check passes.

Eligibility and payout safety

No cash launch before the allowlist and tax process are published

Regions

Current eligible list: none

Weekly Ladder is not live. Before launch, Human Arena must publish a country and region allowlist based on the organizer's legal entity, local skill-contest rules, payout-provider coverage, and applicable sanctions. Players must be at least 18 and physically located in an allowed region during every ranked run.

Identity

Verify finalists, not every visitor

Only potential winners provide legal name, age confirmation, residence, payment details, and required tax forms. Government ID and liveness checks are requested only when required by the payout or risk provider. Raw identity documents should remain with the verification provider and be retained only as long as necessary.

Tax

Report and withhold when required

Winners remain responsible for personal tax obligations. Human Arena must collect required tax documentation, issue reports at the then-current legal thresholds, and withhold amounts where applicable. A winner who cannot complete required checks does not receive a cash payout; the amount rolls into the next eligible pool.
